Admission and fees

In order to be admitted the Master’s M2 “RNA/Enzymes Sciences” RNAES, the student will have to possess a Master’s M1 level in one of the following scientific domains: biochemistry, enzymology, chemical biology, molecular or cellular biology, granted in France or another EU country. Candidates holding non-EU Master’s or other equivalent diplomas, will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us for further information.

Required knowledge

Good knowledge of English, validated ECTS credits in biochemistry, enzymology and molecular biology.

Documents required for admission

The exact package of documents may vary depending on the country of origin, but the scans of the following documents are generally required:
  • – passport (or identity card) and birth certificate
  • – degree (equivalent to european M1 level) certificate
  • – marksheet
  • – statement of purpose (motivation letter)
  • – full postal address for all official correspondence
  • – optional – internship certificates and recommendation letters


Tuition fees

University of Lorraine applies moderate tuition fees for its Master’s Programmes.

In 2014, the tuition fee was approximately 480 €/year, including social security coverage.
